Due to Hurricane Helene, on October 3, 2024, the Board granted one year of continuing education credit to ACTIVE qualifiers/electrical contractors that are located in the NC counties declared disaster areas. See the list of counties below. All qualified individuals located in any of the counties listed below have been awarded their annual required CE hours required for license renewal.
The number of CE hours required for renewal of the license (based on classification type) determined the total hours that were awarded to qualifiers. All Unlimited, Intermediate, Limited, and Single-Family Dwelling qualifiers were given 4-hours of classroom and 4-hours of non-classroom (for a total of 8-hours) CE credit. All SP-FA/LV, SP-PH, SP-EL, SP-ES, SP-SP, and SP-WP qualifiers were given 2-hours of classroom and 2-hours of non-classroom (for a total of 4-hours) CE Credit.
